INTRODUCTION

The need for assurance of Quality and Regulation of Healthcare is now a Legal Requirement in all the Provinces of Pakistan. Medical litigation is on the rise and Healthcare institutions are bound by Government Regulations to deliver safe and excellent care to patients at all times.

This is an advanced Senior Executive Level Course being conducted for the first time in Pakistan with collaboration of Sindh Health Care Commission (SHCC).

In addition to Quality in Healthcare, this course addresses all internationally defined parameters of Clinical Governance and applies the Standards of SHCC to all aspects of Management of Healthcare Facilities.

METHODOLOGY

This is a hands-on senior level professional course with an emphasis on case studies and incident related-problem solving discussions. A subject-related case study will be given as home assignment after every class.

Theoretical guidelines will be rendered through a series of PowerPoint presentations. Major emphasis will be placed on evaluating grasp of concepts through class discussions.
