INTRODUCTION

Industrial Development is considered as the key to progress of a country. Industrial development, Labor Administration and Labor Laws are the subjects, which touch the core of every business and industry.

• Penalties on Violations
• IRA-2012 (Federal Law)

Module: 2 (Employment)

• The Pakistan Industrial & Commercial Employment Ordinance 1968 (Standing Orders) / Sindh Terms of Employment Act, 2015
• The Factories Act,1934 / Sindh Factories Act, 2015

Module: 3 (Welfare) (can be offered as workshop)

• The Provincial Employees Social Security Amendment Act, 2018
• The Employees’ Old-age Benefits Act, 1976
• The Worker’s Welfare Fund Ordinance, 1971

Module: 4

• The Workers’ Compensation Act, 2015/Act, 1923

Module: 5

• The Sindh Payment of Wages Act, 2015/Payment of Wages Act, 1936
• The Sindh Companies Profits (Worker’s Participation) Act, 2015/Act, 968

Module: 6

Case Laws Study/Discussion on Case Laws

Lectures, group discussions, assignments, case studies, videos, and guest speakers’ sessions.

PARTICIPANT PROFILE

This course is specially designed for the HR Professionals and Administrators, Labor officers and Factory Engineers, Plant operators, Compliance Officers, HSE Officers, etc.

PROGRAM DURATION/DAYS

The program is of three-month duration. Classes will be held on Sundays only (10:00 am to 04:00 pm).
