INTRODUCTION

The PIM Diploma in Human Resource Management (HRM) is designed to develop practical skills across a range of HR activities and to ensure that participants have an understanding of modern HRM practices. Human Resource is a fundamental element for the success and development of an organization. It is therefore necessary to understand how to manage people at work in an effective manner to meet an organization’s strategic objectives.

This Diploma provides an overview of HRM for developing a conceptual and practical basis for student learning. It also encourages students to draw on their own experience to develop a clear understanding and practical working knowledge of Human Resource Management.

METHODOLOGY

Lectures, group discussions, assignments, case studies, videos, and guest speakers’ sessions.

PROGRAM DURATION/DAYS

The program is of four-month duration. Classes will be held on (Sunday 10 am to 03 pm).

This Diploma is aimed towards managers who have entered or are entering the field of HRM in their organizations. It is also suitable for those who plan to develop a career in this field.
