Diploma in Supply Chain Management – Lahore

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

Traditionally, firms view themselves as a separate entity maintaining functional relationship with their customers and suppliers and they do not consider either their supplier or customers to become partners. Supply chain management has channelized this functional linkage among them. This four months diploma program will examine various activities involved in supply chain sequence, from procurement to inventory and warehousing management, right through to forecasting, transportation, financial and packaging management. This course will further instill and impart applied knowledge regarding holistic cycle of integrating these activities well within the business processes.

PROGRAM CONTENTS

The program of studies for the Diploma in Supply Chain Management will cover:

• Fundamentals of Supply Chain
• Role of Logistics & Supply Chain Function in an Organization.
• Significance of Collaboration in Today’s Business.
• An Overview on SCOR ( Supply Chain Operations Reference).

PROGRAM DURATION/DAYS

The program is of four-month duration. Classes will be conducted twice a week (Tuesday/Thursday) in the evening from 6.00pm to 9.00pm.
