OVERVIEW OF THE PROGRAM

Globalization, mass production and consumerism make it difficult for organizations without predesigned process and planning.  They need to indulge into business processes to increase their efficacy and economy. Supply chain has increasingly gained the competitive advantage for an organizations as it channelized downstream supplier to upstream customers.

This four months diploma program aims to examine various activities involved in supply chain sequence, from procurement to inventory and warehousing management, right through to forecasting, transportation, financial and packaging management. This course will further impart applied knowledge regarding holistic cycle of integrating these activities well within the business processes.

The participants of the course are expected to strengthen their knowledge base to manage the shift from individual functions to integrating activities into key supply chain processes. This will also provide foundation for further study leading to National/International certification.
