COURSE DESCRIPTION

Decision-making in to-day’s highly competitive world requires versatility in understanding multidimensional implications of each decision. Financial implications carry special significance due to emphasis on profit maximization as the criteria for competitive success. Thus, sound knowledge of financial and accounting principles and practices is crucial for executive decision making. This course is designed to give non-financial executives an understanding of the basic principles of finance and accounting.
