Achieving Global Goals 2030 through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) (Karachi)

PROGRAM DESCRIPTION

We are living in a complex and dynamic world where boosting profits is no longer the sole business performance indicator for corporate. As a result, corporate both locally as well internationally have accepted that they need to learn principles and best practices which will give them social license to operate. The program agenda is to design a CSR strategy in line with SDG 2030 vision, evaluate impact on stakeholders, identify ways to improve performance and enhance the performance of social investments to the profitability of an organization. It will aim to provide a strategic vision and practical knowledge to participants on how to find effective sustainable solutions.

• SROI (Social Return on Investment): Measure the social value or return on CSR project
• CSR Reporting & Communication Toolkit for Brand Development
• Global Trends: Wave to Transform Charity Based Organizations to Social Sustainable Enterprises

LEARNING OUTCOMES

• Learn practical applications and create resource tool box for sustainable development.
• Equip best global CSR practices through the investors’ lens.
• To develop an ability to demonstrate a solid understanding of CSR, SDG and their impact on global society.

SALIENT FEATURES

This course is a collaborative, interpersonal​and experiential, with dialogue-based learning involving the instructors, cohort members and subject matter experts following:

• Inter-active, discussion based format.
• Regular assessment and counseling through quizzes & short assignments.
• Visits to selected social organizations to have practical hands-on experience.

PROGRAM DURATION/DAYS

This Program is of 4-months’ duration starting from Sunday, 17 December, 2017. Classes will be held on Sunday only during 9:30 am to 2:30 pm.
